Here is an opportunity for both teachers and classroom helpers to impact
school children and teens in a needy area through teaching English and other life skills.
South Africa Camps
We will be returning to partner with the Monte Cristo ministry. They have requested teachers and classroom helpers with the desire to minister to students from the local townships. To help these children advance with the hope of getting a better education and jobs, we will offer teaching assistance in small classroom settings in areas such as:
- Bible
- English through music and art
- Home economics (cooking)
- Life skills (manners/hygiene)
- Computers
- Sports/games
- Dance
- Karate
- Maintenance (repair around the facilities)
- (Other classes possible)
Location: Klein Nederburg, Paarl East
Estimated number of students: 75-100
Team members will apply to Proclaim! International and will raise funds to cover tour expenses and airfare.
