As a bassist and soundman it's sometimes hard for me to imagine, but there aren't so many of us, sound techs & bass players, floating around. And I would venture to say that to secure a great sound engineer for a Proclaim tour is among the hardest of all tasks to complete.
Please allow me to break it down. Start with the World
Population, then the people I know, then someone who shares a deep
faith in God and is an excellent sound technician, hmmm…now we've
eliminated more people. Then to narrow the field to a finely sliced
fragment of the population and find someone who is qualified, willing
to go into some sketchy situations, and wants to use their talent and
skill in evangelism, almost impossible. Here comes the appeal. We have ongoing needs for qualified sound techs.
